American Dunes is a golf course that has a mission not only to provide guests with an amazing destination golf course but also to raise money for the Folds of Honor Foundation.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
At American Dunes, I have had the privilege to assist in over a dozen golf events. I have also been tasked with assisting in managing the golf shop, online sales, and reservations.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
Throughout my time at American Dunes, I have been able to learn how to effectively communicate to customers over the phone.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this internship would be being able to give back to the heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this country through the Folds of Honor Foundation.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience has influenced my future goals in many ways. The biggest would be that I always want to work for a company that has a valuable mission and purpose.
