Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
Over my third co-op rotation, I was able to tie up loose ends on a website remodeling project that was started on my second rotation. In addition, I worked individually to complete a large portion of a campaign for a product. I was also given time to look into SAR research, an area of study I am interested in.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
The course of my co-op has provided me with extensive knowledge of how to use various interfaces and engineering equipment. In addition, my ability to professionally converse with industry members has improved. Overall, the co-op has given a strong background in problem solving engineering problems.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of the co-op experience was receiving the ability to work individually. Being able to setup tests, work with customers and other industry members, and problem solve has given me a great confidence in my engineering capabilities.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
My future career goals continue to face in the direction of the medical industry. I have a great passion for biomedical engineering and look forward to taking all the skill gained throughout my 3 co-op rotations and move towards those goals.
