Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I was able to take full the full responsibility of designing work stations that costumer agreed to have built by the company. I was in charge of communicating between the project manager as well as the customer, to ensure that the machine met their expectations.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I was able to see first-hand how complex machines are design and designed in a way that is easiest to debug should problems arise. I learned how to critically think about the task at hand and determine the best way to design a machine that is functional and cost effective.
Favorite Part of the Experience
Working with the customers themselves, and knowing that I was responsible for determining a machine / process to achieve the task that the customer asked for.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience has shown me how the industry works and all of the different areas/ people there are to make a final product. It has shown me the team work and communication between many firms and people to achieve the ultimate goal.
