Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed

This semester I conducted a great deal of CAD modeling. I formed a variety of presentations for both my coworkers and out of company engineers to view. I was consulted by machinists and assembly workers on questions regarding drawings and tools. Communications skills were important as I met with customer engineers almost weekly to discuss tooling updates and changes.

Favorite Part of the Experience

Working with coworkers and customer engineers on changes and updates for their tooling. I also enjoyed the difficult projects assigned me. It is a very rewarding feeling knowing that you constructed/modeled something that landed your company an order from another company.

This has greatly enhanced my engineering skills that will help train me in becoming a more experienced and sought after engineer.
