Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
While at Cotiviti, I worked on multiple projects with various software architectures, including AWS cloud and On-premise data center. I am responsible for designing and building continuous integration and deployment pipelines, performing configuration management, following security guidelines, and architect cloud environments. I worked closely with the development team to build and deploy the .Net, Java, Python, and SSIS projects across various development, staging, and production environments. I also got the chance to design and build an internal in-house application from scratch, which helped the team to automate routine tasks. The application had many services, including backend, frontend, message queue, caching, proxy and database. I am working with the Data Operations team to design and build infrastructure-as-code and data pipelines for the AWS environment.

I gained a lot of experience working the Cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. I learned how to build and deploy applications with various technical stacks and coordinate releases. I got the chance with various tools, such as Atlassian Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, Jira, GitVersion, Salt Stack, Serverless, and Terraform. I also enhanced my skills in building full-stack applications using Python, Django Framework, VueJs, ExpressJS, Redis, Nginx, Docker, and PostgreSQL. Another skill that I improved was problem-solving by working with various members to identify the root cause and provide a solution. Further, I got to work in a professional environment with people from various technical backgrounds and knowledge working together.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of the internship was working closely with the ADLM team. Everyone on the team was cheerful, optimistic, and positive. They were always available to share their expertise and help when someone got stuck. Another favorite aspect of the internship experience was the chance to work with AWS environments and the opportunity to participate in AWS training sessions.
