Description of the Organization
Perrin Brewing Company is a young brewery, no more than three years old. They pride themselves on quality over anything else. They do not have much publicity in their background other than word of mouth about the beer they brew. They are currently a draft only brewery with plans to package soon.

Create News release Discuss potential advertising tactics Maintain the company Instagram Assisted in the promotion and running of Grand Rapids beer week events and Winter Beer Festival Assisted in brewery when help was needed.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I gained a lot of person-to-person communication skills that I did not have before. I gained an understanding of what goes into creating, promoting, and running events. Learned how many hours it truly takes to maintain a positive social media presence. Learned everything that goes into turning a news release into an article that was in the Grand Rapids Press and on MLive
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this co-op experience was when the news release I wrote on Perrin's behalf got picked up to be turned into an actual story that made it both to MLive and into the Grand Rapids Press.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience has influenced my future career goals by turning my interest into the brewing field. I enjoyed working for a brewery so I would like to run P.R. and advertising for a brewery.
