Description of the Organization
The organization makes marine products. Anything from accessories such as lights, cleats, paddles, to ropes, bilge pumps and motors.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
Built up a lot of test samples for product development. Mainly worked in the development process for two of the trolling motors that are launching. Helped perform tests for the motors to validate the product. My main project was to make a service tool for one of the motors that could be distributed to about 300 different service centers across the US
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
Lots of hand on skills, understanding of design and development process, interfacing with a variety of people in the company from engineers, to purchasing, to production workers.

Testing the motors out on the river

Made me want to get more into the design and development of projects.
