DornerWorks is a contract engineering firm that typically works with embedded systems engineering. Currently there are approximately 60-70 employees at DornerWorks.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I worked on design, testing, debug, and fixing both the hardware and software of several projects ranging from biomedical to R&D fields.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I learned more on how to design and implement both circuits and software. I also learned a lot about how to design and implement testing and debug procedures.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part was the increased freedom I was provided in this semester.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I feel I would like to go into the embedded systems field as it allows for projects in a range of different fields.
