Often times I was in charge of training new interns with the programs that we used daily to track the progress we were making in reaching voters. I also trained volunteers on making calls and recording the responses. Other main tasks included making public appearances such as in parade or at events, creating flyers, and advising on future projects.

This experience has given me an understanding of what a campaign is and how they function. Before starting this internship I had no idea what a campaign did beside work to get the candidate elected. With the increased knowledge I have been influenced into looking for more career opportunities in this area of the political world.
