Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I was responsible for monthly maintenance procedures, designing and implementing fixtures, writing, quality assurance and performing testing protocols and other day to day operations as necessary.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I gained experience in protocol writing, prototyping, testing procedures, soft tissue biopsy procedures, convention presentation, and quality assurance guidelines.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part was being given projects that I could see through from start to finish. I would start with a need, design a solution, prepare a budget, present the solution and finally implement the approved design.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I would like to remain in the biomedical engineering area working as a product design engineer.
