Description of the Organization

The Grand Rapids Symphony is a non-profit organization aimed to share music with the Grand Rapids community. The office is mid-sized, but the organization as a whole is large.

Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed

Corey adjusts tasks based on interest, but I completed copywriting for email, programs, radio, and social media. I helped set up the hall for concerts as well and worked front-of-house multiple times during the semester. Sometimes I would complete research, as well.

Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

Gained experience writing copy frequently and a better understanding of Meta/Facebook Ads manager.

Favorite Part of the Experience

Being able to build relationships in the office and having a boss who wanted to help me achieve my goals.

How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals

It has allowed me to better understand what I like or don't like in a position or office setting.
