Laker Exploratory Network Alumni Directory
The Laker Exploratory Network Alumni directory is a searchable directory that allows exploratory students the ability to connect with upper class students and alumni of Grand Valley. Students can email you questions about how you picked your college major, your career path and advice on getting into your occupational field.
Please consider offering your knowledge and experience to newer Lakers who are trying to find their path!
Here are some key points to know if you want to participate:
1.) Your name, email, college major, current occupation and optional Linked In profile will be available to view for current GVSU exploratory students, and they are able to email you questions about your academic and career path. Here are some typical questions you may receive from a student inquiring about your journey:
- Why did you choose your specific college major?
- In summary, what were your major courses like at Grand Valley?
- What did you do following graduation? What would you have done different now?
- What were you involved in on campus related to your college major at Grand Valley?
- What advice do you have for a student who is interested in the major you completed?
2.) The directory will be only available to current GVSU Exploratory students behind a GVSU sign on requirement.
3.) You can opt out at any time, and I will email you each summer to inquire if you still want to have your information listed in the directory.
4.) This is an email connection only; you do not meet anyone in person.
