We define an emergency as a situation, which jeopardizes safety or makes a facility unusable. Examples include: heating/cooling, no power, Non-Housing inoperable door locks, overflowing toilets, sinks or showers, leaking water pipes, and icy walk/road conditions.
We
define a non-emergency or routine request as a maintenance, custodial
or grounds service that does not require immediate assistance and has an
estimated completion date within 7 working days. Examples include: light bulb replacement, painting, leaking faucets (not causing water damage), additional housekeeping, recycling, special grounds keeping.
