Description
Designing a course in Blackboard Ultra can feel like an overwhelming task. This webinar series overall will help you design a course in 5 steps using best practices in course design, Universal Design for Learning principles, and Backwards Design.
Foundational items for a course site may include the Syllabus, Course Schedule, Learning Objectives, Begin Here/Welcome content, Navigation instruction, and more.
Criteria
- Build/Update all of the components of your Welcome/Begin Here module using the information covered in the STEP 1 session.
- Using a Course Alignment Map, list your learning outcomes/objectives to bring to the STEP 2 Assessments series session in a couple weeks.
Deadline
- End of the semester following the semester in which the badge-worthy activity took place.
