This badge represents a deliberate partnership between you and your liaison librarian to help your online students better understand the information ecosystem and support student success. Specific for online and hybrid course improvement.
Bronze Level
To earn a bronze badge, meet with your liaison librarian to identify opportunities to enhance information literacy and add the librarian to your Blackboard course as a teaching assistant. Submit a brief reflection on your meeting and a screen shot of your Blackboard homepage showing teaching assistant status.
Silver Level
To earn a silver badge, complete the bronze badge and then attend a library, IT, or IDeL workshop on educational technology-related topic, such as advanced Blackboard, instructional video creation, or incorporating streaming video into your class. Submit proof of attendance.
Gold Level
To earn a gold badge, complete the bronze and silver badges and then formally share a reflection about implementation about the collaboration. Sharing could include presenting at the Teaching with Technology Symposium, presenting at a conference, or facilitating an on-campus workshop.
