On Monday, March 1, 2021, Peace Corps will celebrate its 60th anniversary! President John F. Kennedy signed the executive order establishing the Peace Corps on March 1, 1961. Over the past 60 years, we have all been influenced by the mission and goals of the Peace Corps. You can find more about the Peace Corps’ history by [HERE].
Next week, Peace Corps recruiters will host more than 100 events
virtually around the world to celebrate many aspects of the Peace
Corps’ diverse legacy. Among those events, we are highlighting below a
few events that we feel will be of particular interest.
