Registration is now open for the fourth annual Black Boys and Men National Symposium. The symposium will be held from June 11-13 at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids.
B. Donta Truss, vice president for Enrollment Development and Educational Outreach, called the symposium an important platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration. "The symposium is a vital space for addressing the unique challenges and opportunities facing Black boys and men today," Truss said. "We are committed to fostering an environment where impactful conversations can lead to actionable change."
All GVSU faculty and staff are eligible for discounted early registration using the code GVBBMS at checkout. This offer is available through November 30. Early registration is encouraged, as spaces are limited.
The symposium will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities designed to inspire, educate and empower attendees. Participants will gain insights from leading experts and have the chance to engage in critical conversations that will help shape future policies and practices.
Visit the BBMS website for updates and registration details.
