The GVSU Family Health Center, operated by the Kirkhof College of
Nursing, will offer free flu vaccination clinics for the campus community.
Tamara Van Kampen, practice manager at the GVSU Family Health Center,
said measures that help protect against COVID-19 — such as distancing,
wearing face coverings and washing hands often — can also help
decrease the spread of flu.
There is no charge for the flu vaccine for Grand Valley retirees,
benefit-eligible faculty and staff members and their dependents.
Non-benefit eligible faculty and staff, and students can have their
insurance billed for the cost of the flu vaccine, or use credit/debit
or student account billing at any clinic.
Students, faculty and staff members can get flu vaccinations at the
GVSU Family Health Center at
72 Sheldon Blvd. SE, during the health center’s hours without an appointment.
