Tony Verplank is the President of Pliant Plastics Corporation. He received a BA in finance from Michigan State University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. Tony joined Shape corp. after receiving his MBA in 2002, and has remained involved with the family of companies in various roles ever since.

In addition to serving on several for-profit boards, Tony has served as board chair for both the Chamber (Grand Haven, Spring Lake and Ferrysburg) and the Ottawa County United Way, including chairing the county campaign with his wife Monica. Tony currently serves on the board of governors for the Spring Lake Country Club. Tony and Monica live in Spring Lake with their children, Roan and Hunter.
