Daniel (Dan) Gordon is the chairman of Gordon Food Service Inc. based in Michigan. He joined the company in 1973 and became president in 1989. Dan became chairman of the board in 2010. Through his leadership, Gordon Food Service has established a national and international presence, ranked 21st in Forbes' list of privately owned companies, and is the largest family-owned food service company in America. Dan and his wife have three children and five grandchildren. He currently serves as a director of the Grand Valley University Foundation.
