A life-long member of the East Grand Rapids community, David (Dave) Mehney has served on several city and school boards. He has been instrumental in many community fundraising efforts and has demonstrated a deep commitment to the continued growth of his hometown. David's experience includes corporate leadership, branded marketing, and international operations experience. He has been president of the KMW Group, Inc. since 1966. The KMW Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries import and distribute medical products in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and distribute marine products in Michigan. David's experience also includes being the City Commissioner of East Grand Rapids for 16 years and serving on several boards for organizations such as St. Johns Home, Mary Free Bed, Camp Blodgett, and Michigan National Bank. He is currently serving as a board member for the Porter Hills Foundation and is also a managing partner of Thousand Oaks Golf Club. David is a longtime supporter of Grand Valley activities, including athletics.
