José A. Infante is the senior vice president for Independent Bank. He served on the Board of Trustees for Grand Valley for eight years, from 1999 to 2007. José is currently a member of the GVU Foundation board and serves on the university's Investment Committee. He has been involved in many fundraising campaigns at the university over the years. He is currently involved in a number of community boards, such as the Gerald R. Ford Boy Scouts Board, the West Michigan Osteopathic Foundation and the Van Andel Institute Board of Regents. He also serves on the regional board as the vice chair of the Trinity/Mercy Hospital System. José has a long history of serving on community boards in the Grand Rapids and Muskegon area.
