Matthew found his calling in nursing. As a recent graduate of Grand Valley’s nursing program, Matthew feels more prepared for a career in nursing than he could ever imagine, thanks to the program’s excellent simulation program and clinicals completed with Spectrum Health. He now hopes to begin his career at Spectrum and eventually become a nurse anesthetist. “Because of Grand Valley’s simulation program, I have been exposed to real life, challenging scenarios that I otherwise I would never have encountered,” says Matthew, “I have also been able to conduct real nursing research and share it with audiences all across the Midwest. Thank you for setting me up for success.”
