Patricia R. Renucci is a founding member of Grand Valley State University’s Friends of Alten Society. She and her late husband, Peter, both lovers of art, travel, and music, donated several Alten portraits to GVSU’s art collection and made a gift allowing the music department to purchase a Steinway piano. Together, Pat and Peter initiated two endowed Medical Lab Sciences scholarships at Grand Valley. The Renucci-Panopoulos Floor in the Raleigh J. Finkelstein Hall and the Mr. and Mrs. Peter P. Renucci Clinical Laboratory Sciences Program Laboratory in Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences were both named after the Renuccis in recognition of their gifts to the buildings. Pat values family and has always seen an importance in helping other families in any way possible. She and Peter have been significant supporters of the Spectrum Health Renucci Hospitality House, positively impacting the many families the hospitality house has helped throughout the years.
