Tamara
Tamara always had dreams of working in elegant hotels and at wonderful tourist destinations. If it were not for the help of the Thompson Foundation, Tamara says she would not be where she is today. The Thompson Foundation helped her achieve her dreams of studying Hospitality and Tourism Management at Grand Valley State University. As a recent graduate, Tamara secured a job in a leadership program with Marriott International. When asked about her Grand Valley experience Tamara states, “With your help, students like me who can’t come to a university like this for financial reasons, will see their dreams come true. Thank you so much!”
