Financial Support for Health Informatics and Bioinformatics, M.S.
Ways to finance your education:
Graduate Assistantships
There are a limited number of Graduate Assistantships (GAs) available at the school and the University. They are part-time, paid work experiences for graduates in their field of study to expand and apply their discipline knowledge and skills under supervision. Tuition is also paid based on requirements of hours worked and course credits per semester. Find Graduate Assistantship Job Openings on the Graduate School's website.
Find Jobs - Handshake
You can find Graduate Assistantships or other campus jobs at the Handshake website. You need to be accepted to the HIB Program in order to apply. If you are asked for a reference, please contact the person who knows you best, typically one of your instructors or the program director, Dr. Guenter Tusch.
We expect our GAs to be hard working and an example for other students. Such a position is a privilege that typically is earned by good grades and ethical behavior. That includes not being reported to OSCCR. It is not a stipend. You are expected to put in the work that is requested. Failure to meet expectations can result in termination at any time.
