On April 15th, we hosted a delightful event at GVSU's Allendale Campus, bringing together students and community members to paint flower pots for nursing home residents.Tables were set with paints and brushes, and participants eagerly transformed plain terracotta pots into colorful masterpieces. Laughter filled the room as people of all ages bonded over their shared artistic endeavors.

As the event wrapped up, there was a sense of satisfaction knowing that their efforts would bring joy to others. With heartfelt thanks to the SAGE team and Grand Connection Members, the event showcased the power of community to make a difference. Now, as the painted flower pots find their way to nursing homes, they carry not only beauty but also the spirit of compassion that defined the evening.
