Aruna joined The Graduate School in the Fall Semester of 2023 as a Special Programs and Resource Graduate Assistant. She is responsible for coordination of the The Graduate School Podcast Series as well as co-leading the Paces Program and helping to manage and update different websites. Aruna also supports the Graduate Showcase and Citation Awards .  

Aruna is perusing her graduate degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Grand Valley State University. She has her undergraduate degree in Media Studies from Kathmandu University School of Arts in Nepal. Aruna started her career as a Feminist Oral History Documenter and Writer in Nepal. She is passionate about organizational development, and advocacy.  She is also a photographer and writes Nepali poems.
