$1,000 Award for Experiential learning and student enrichment experiences

Grand Valley received a gift to establish the S. Kleiman DPT Young Alumni Investment Award . The goal of this award is to encourage faculty and staff to nominate a fantastic alum to receive the Young Alumni Award. For example, if Professor Joe nominates Jane for the Young Alumni Award and Jane wins, his department will receive the $1,000 award. The gift provides one award to be made each year for five years, which means there will be five opportunities to take advantage of.
Both the criteria and nomination form for the award can be found here. The winner of the Young Alumni Award will be chosen by members of the GVSU Alumni Association Board of Director’s Awards Committee and presented at the December Commencement.
Your College and departments will have until Friday, September 14 to submit nominations.
