January 22, 2018
The University of Toledo Graduate Student Association invites all
Grand Valley graduate students to attend the 9th Annual
Midwest Graduate Research Symposium (MGRS). This event is recognized
as a great opportunity for presenting research, networking, and
fostering intercollegiate friendships and collaborations. The MGRS is
an all-day, multi-interdisciplinary, multi-university symposium.
Scheduled events include oral and poster presentations, professional
development workshops, a Q&A session, an awards ceremony, and will
end with dinner and a keynote address.
This important event will be held on Saturday April
7th, 2018 and will take place at the University of Toledo’s
Memorial Field House and Student Union. Online registration for the
MGRS at The University of Toledo is now open and free to all students
until March 10, 2018. Interested graduate students should register
as a presenter. The Keynote Speaker of the event is Dr. Clinton
O. Longenecker, a distinguished professor from University of Toledo’s
College of Business and Innovation. This is a unique opportunity for
mentorship, networking, and exposure to future research opportunities
in many respected fields. Last year’s event included students and
judges from 16 universities with close to 400 people in attendance.
