GVSU 3MT Application Deadline Extended!

Update (1/26/2022): The deadline for applications has been extended to Monday, January 31, 2022.
The Graduate School is accepting applications for GVSU's 3-Minute Thesis Competition (3MT) and has extended the deadline for submissions to Monday, January 24, 2022. Students completing graduate level projects, dissertations, and theses are eligible to participate. Please submit all materials no later than January 24 at 11:59 p.m. on our TGS website.
The 3MT® competition provides a unique opportunity to share students' work with the broader community in a fun and exciting format. The 3MT® competition allows graduate students to present their research in just 3 minutes with the aid of a single slide.
The winner of GVSU’s 3MT® receives a cash prize as well full funding to represent GVSU at the Midwest Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS) 3MT® virtual competition in March 2022. Awards are as follows:
- First Place: $500 cash prize
- Second Place: $250 cash prize
- Third Place: $100 cash prize
