GVSU Graduate Programs in Business, Nursing, Physical Therapy & Public Administration Ranked Highest in West Michigan

U.S. News and World Report released the Best Graduate School rankings for 2016 and GVSU's graduate programs in Business and Nursing ranked higher than all other graduate programs in West Michigan. GVSU's Physical Therapy program ranked the best in the state and the graduate program in Public Administration is the only program in Nonprofit Management to be ranked in the state of Michigan.

The Kirkhof College of Nursing offers both a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing.

The Doctor of Physical Therapy program will begin accepting applications for the Fall 2016 class on July 1, 2015.

The Public Administration graduate program offers emphasis areas in public management, urban/regional planning and policy, health administration, nonprofit management and leadership, and criminal justice.

How U.S. News Calculated the 2016 Best Graduate Schools Rankings:

Each year, U.S. News ranks professional school programs in business, education, engineering, law, medicine, and nursing. The 2016 Best Graduate Schools rankings are based on two types of data: expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research and students.

The data come from surveys of administrators at more than 1,900 programs and more than 13,700 academics and professionals, conducted during the fall of 2014 and early 2015.
