Campus Climate Survey
October 07, 2019
Students and faculty are invited to participate in the Campus Climate Survey that will be open from November 14th-24th. This is an anonymous survey that helps evaluate the diversity at GVSU and how “comfortable” the campus climate feels. The goal is to make GVSU a welcoming environment for all. During the last survey in 2015, GVSU had over forty percent participation which is well over the twenty-nine percent national average. Organizers are aiming for one-hundred percent participation at GVSU this year.
Three meetings will be held to discuss the details of the survey for those who are interested. They are September 23rd from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences, Room 140; September 24th from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Kirkhof Center, Pere Marquette Room; and September 26th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the DeVos Center, Room 105E.
Students and faculty will receive an email in November with the link to the survey. It should take no more than ten minutes. Incentives in the forms of $1,000-$2,000 grants will be offered for completion of the survey. The Campus Climate Survey provides feedback that promotes positive change at GVSU. Participation is greatly appreciated for the best interest of everyone in the GVSU community.
