MSW/MPA Alumnus Accepts Position with UCLA

Brent Showerman, graduate of both the Master of Social Work and Master of Public Administration programs, has accepted a position as Operations Administrative Specialist with the Office of Operations and External Relations in the Graduate Division at UCLA. He will be working on projects with the provosts and deans, supporting special guests, providing analytics, and operational support. Brent served as a Graduate Assistant for The Graduate School during his time as a graduate student at Grand Valley, supporting New Graduate Student Orientation, the PACES program, Graduate Council, and contributing to many graduate education research projects and initiatives. He credits those experiences for helping him earn this opportunity possible.
