The film series that explores racial and socioeconomic inequities in the
nation's health care system continues this week.
"UnNatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick?" is a
seven-part documentary produced by California Newsreel. Three campus
departments — Health and Wellness, College of Interdisciplinary Studies,
and Counseling Center — are sponsoring the series and discussions that
started October 23.
Part six, "Collateral Damage," will be shown on Thursday,
December 4, beginning at noon in the Kirkhof Center, room 2201.
Participants do not need to attend all screenings and discussions.
Questions about the film or discussion can be directed to the Health and
Wellness Department at (616) 331-2215. For more information about the
film, visit www.unnaturalcauses.org
