Grand Valley State University's New Music Ensemble's upcoming recording of Terry Riley's "In C" received a glowing review in Newsweek.
In the magazine issue dated Oct 12, 2009,
reviewer Seth Colter Walls wrote that "The members of Grand
Valley State's ensemble play with a confident swing." The

Times and the New Yorker.
Upcoming performances by the ensemble are
November 4 at Grand Valley State University in Allendale and November
8 at Le Poisson Rouge in New York.
