Open enrollment for 2010 for benefit-eligible faculty and staff
members will begin on October 27 and run through November 11.
David Smith, director of Benefit Services, said the two-week
period gives faculty and staff members time to make changes to their
current medical plans, and study all benefit options. Re-enrollment
for flexible spending accounts for dependent care and health care also
must be completed during this time.
The online enrollment must be updated by 5 p.m. on November 11.
For those who do not enroll by that time, benefits will remain the
same as for 2009.
