Winter coats needed

Union members of AFSCME Local No. 2074 and Facilities Services are asking faculty and staff members, students and the general public to donate winter coats for area K-12 school children. Many people in Michigan are unemployed this year and for some families buying winter coats is not doable.

Children's coats sizes 5-18 and adult sizes for boys and girls are needed; new or lightly used coats will be accepted.

Donation boxes are located in several buildings across campus including Student Services, Kirkhof Center, Service Building, Zumberge Library, Calder Fine Arts Center, Performing Arts Center, Niemeyer Living Center, and Lake Ontario Hall.
