Several Grand Valley departments are sponsoring events centered on "Rethinking Columbus: Discover the American Indian Perspective."
The program on Monday, October 11, will include video clips, theatrical re-enactment of Columbus' arrival and a panel discussion. It will be presented at noon in Loosemore Auditorium, DeVos Center, and at 4 p.m. in Louis Armstrong Theatre, Performing Arts Center.
