Diversity Brownbag session looks at stereotypes

Staff members from the Office of Multicultural Affairs will host a Diversity Brownbag session on Thursday, November 18, that will focus on stereotypes.

“Ouch! That Stereotype Hurts” will begin at noon in the Kirkhof Center, room 1240. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunches. Clips from the film of the same title will be shown and discussion will explore the impact of biases and stereotypes and offer techniques for speaking up against bias without guilt.
