GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-Grand Valley State University's Seidman College
of Business presents a breakfast lecture addressing the potential
impact of proposed financial reforms in the wake of the recent
economic crisis.
The program, "Financial Crisis and Proposed Regulatory
Reform" will be Tuesday, April 6 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the
Pew Campus's Loosemore Auditorium. The chair of Grand Valley's Finance
Department, Sridhar Sundaram, will be the panel's moderator. Ted Fuger
from CFA West Michigan Society will give the introductory remarks.
The panel discussion will feature: Dan Giedeman, associate
professor, Grand Valley State University; Harvey Koning, partner at
Varnum LLC; Arthur C. Johnson, CEO of United Bank of Michigan and
chair of the American Bankers Association 2009-10; and Ronald
Kruszewski, chairman of the board and CEO of Stifel Nicolaus
