The Kirkhof College of Nursing at Grand Valley will hold two public
H1N1 flu immunization clinics at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 47
Jefferson St. SE in Grand Rapids.
Clinic dates are Tuesday, February 23, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; and
Thursday, February 25, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Nasal mists and injections
will be available.
The clinics are a collaboration between the Kirkhof College of
Nursing and Westminster Presbyterian Church, but are open to the
public. KCON, for years, has operated a health clinic in the Heartside
neighborhood that reaches underserved populations, in addition to
Grand Valley faculty and staff members and students.
The vaccines are covered by Medicaid and some other insurance
companies; participants are asked to bring their insurance cards. For
