Nominations sought for Celebrating Women awards

The Women's Commission and other campus departments are seeking nominations for four different awards that will be presented at the annual Celebrating Women Awards ceremony on April 1.

The Women's Commission will present the Maxine Swanson and Women's Impact awards. The Women's Center will present its Outstanding Female Student Awards; and Women and Gender Studies will present the Barbara Jordan Award. Criteria for all these awards is available online at www.gvsu.edu/w_commission.

Also at the April 1 ceremony, the Jean Enright Scholarship will be presented, and recipients of the Positive Black Women Scholarship will be announced.
