Padnos Center event keeps Haiti relief in minds of many

Grand Valley student Jared Kohler shared his experiences of traveling to Haiti following the January earthquake during an event in late April sponsored by the Padnos International Center.

Joining Kohler was Haitian pastor Jean Héder Petit-Frère, the CEO of Shabach Ministries International. He experienced the earthquake and asked Kohler to return to Haiti to document the aftermath. Peter Wampler, assistant professor of geology, moderated the panel discussion. During the event, collections were taken for Shabach Ministries and Partners in Health.
