Norman Christopher,director of Grand Valley's Sustainability Initiative, will moderate a panel discussion on renewable energy at the Padnos Recycling Facility on 44th Street in Wyoming.
The panel dicussion is part of a ribbon-cutting ceremony in which Padnos Iron and Metal Company and Cascade Renewable Energy will unveil a 150 kW solar electric system. The event will take place March 15 from noon-2 p.m.
Panelists include Jeff Padnos, Padnos Iron & Metal Co.; Fred Keller, Cascade Engineering; Greg White, Michigan Public Service Commission; and Jon Allan, Consumers Energy.
The event is open to the public.
