As part of Sustainability Week, Grand Valley students, faculty, staff and community members were honored for their sustainable practices at the Sustainability Champions Awards Breakfast October 29. President Thomas J. Haas and Mayor Heartwell spoke about the importance of continuing to grow sustainable initiatives both at Grand Valley and in Grand Rapids.
