Grand Valley's Women's Commission will host its annual Fall Welcome Reception on Thursday, September 23, from noon-1:30 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center, Pere Marquette Room.
The keynote speaker will be Muthoni Imungi, field education coordinator for the School of Social Work. Lunch will be provided; RSVP online at www.gvsu.edu/w_commission.
Following the luncheon, the Women’s Center will host its annual
artists reception and celebrate the works of students, faculty and
staff members. The reception will run from 1-3 p.m. in the Women's
Center suite and feature works by Mary Johnson, Emma Wolverton, Monica
Johnstone, Shannon Maisel, Jessica Pleyel, Jenn Schaub and Hankondo
Sibalwa.
