Award ceremony will celebrate student organizations

The campus community is invited to the annual Student Life Recognition Awards, where student organizations will be recognized for their contributions during the year. Nominated individuals, programs and organizations will be awarded for their effort and impact as well.

Grand River Room, Kirkhof Center

“The awards ceremony is a great opportunity for the Office of Student Life and the university to recognize the amazing contributions our student organizations make on campus,” said Aaron Haight, assistant director of Student Life. “We have more than 340 registered student organizations that engage students in programs, entertainment, leadership, service, athletics, and co-curricular activities that enhance the Grand Valley Community.”

Twenty-six awards will presented by Student Organization Review Board members and include Most Innovative Program, Outstanding Cultural Program, Outstanding Faculty Member, Best New Organization, and Most Promising Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Leader.
