Students, faculty and staff members participated in a silent march around campus March 31 to honor the life and legacy of Cesar Chavez.
The march ended with a presentation at Kirkhof Center by Juan
Buriel, associate professor of English at the College of Canyons in
California. He has worked extensively with the Latino community to
develop a generation of young leaders.
The Office of Multicultural Affairs sponsored the day’s events,
with support from numerous campus departments.
