Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Take Steps Walk

May 7
5 p.m. is registration; the walk starts at 6 p.m.
Grand Valley’s Allendale Campus, field next to the Performing Arts Center
“The walks I’ve attended before are like celebrations,” said
Justin Gray, president of the CCSI and a junior majoring in nursing.
“We want this walk to be the same. There will be presentations, live
music and crafts; it will be very family-friendly.”
Participants can choose to walk one-mile or three-mile routes.
Participants are encouraged to create a team of walkers and raise
funds that will go toward patient care, education and research. The
walk will feature presentations from two Honored Heros, people that
have overcome Crohn’s or Colitis disease, from Grand Valley. They will
initiate the walk with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
